Bottineau Transitway Open Houses and Study Materials

Alternatives Analysis study materials are now available online at the Bottineau Transitway site.  One key document is a draft of the Alternatives Analysis evaluation results that describes how each alignment was evaluated according to the following five goals:

  • Goal 1: Enhance Regional Mobility
Goal 2: Expand the Effectiveness of Transit Service within the Corridor
  • Goal 3: Provide a Cost Effective and Financially Feasible Transportation System
  • Goal 4: Encourage Transit-Supportive Land Use and Development Patterns
  • Goal 5: Support Sustainable Communities and Sound Environmental Practices

Also available are operating characteristics by segment alignment which show a street section for each segment.

Area residents, businesses, and institutions are encouraged to attend a series of open house meetings to provide input on draft analysis results generated from the Bottineau Transitway Alternatives Analysis Study. Staff will be available to collect
input and provide information. A slide presentation is planned for 6:30 PM at each open house. People may also sign up for future corridor updates at this meeting.
