Bottineau Boulevard Partnership

The local governments and major employers represented in the Bottineau Boulevard Partnership have succeeded in getting the green light for the Bottineau Line, a bus rapid transit (BRT) system providing northwest metro commuters a new option – a fast, comfortable ride between destinations in the County Road 81 corridor.

The Bottineau Line will begin operation by 2008 between Brooklyn Park and Minneapolis, expanding service in stages and eventually reaching as far as Rogers. Improvements to County Road 81 will accompany BRT, making the thoroughfare more accessible to commercial development.
